SENSOR HOTEL

In an era where tough decisions must be made and debates run high, facts can be decisive. This applies to the nitrogen issue in the Netherlands as well. On behalf of Steuma Instruments, we developed the 'Sensor Hotel': an industrial enclosure equipped with various high-tech sensors conducting 24/7 measurements. CO2, oxygen, and nitrogen are among the substances measured. This data is transmitted directly via the GSM network to Connected Worlds, which analyzes the information. |
During the recent period, several municipalities in the Netherlands and airports (Rotterdam The Hague and Schiphol) have equipped around 75 lampposts with a sensor hotel. This creates a factual image of air quality (development). We provided the enclosure, including the selection and installation of sensors, and developed the software for control and data transmission. We now have an intensive collaboration with Steuna Instruments and are working on multiple projects, such as air monitoring in laboratories. |
