Directing and monitoring taken to the next levelWhat needs to happen if you want to largely automate your warehouse and order management and ensure that pallets or molds can be transported both horizontally and vertically? Some of Kumatech's clients, such as Meijer Metal and De Cromvoirtse, wanted to achieve that. In response to Kumatech's request, we took on the challenge.
In such projects, two worlds of automation come together: those of AGVs and PLCs. Fortunately, that happens to be our specialty. Software-wise, we realized the following, including testing and implementation: * Navigation, (order) registration, and status management of AGVs;* Track & trace: registration + tracking of products using RFID and/or QR codes;* Automatic warehouse arrangements;* Process of moving pallets and molds using shuttles and lifts;* Integration between warehouse and ERP system for order management;* AGV and PLC technology.The project has now been completed. Shuttles and lifts move products, pallets, and molds through the warehouse. Fully automated. Both on the floor and in the height. Every status and action is registered and communicated via the Traffic Management System (TMS) developed by us. The client's ERP system communicates with the TMS based on orders and receives status information via a connection. The logistics automation runs completely autonomously. |

Under the name ‘Wellness Control’, Black Box Engineering delivers complete control systems for wellness, home automation and security. These are fully customised systems and we work with designers, swimming pool designers, manufacturers and installers. If required, we can also carry out the installation. Wellness Control allows you, as the end user, to have the best of both words. Operate, monitor and manage your equipment remotely using a tablet or telephone. All control components are housed simply, compactly and securely in a single control cabinet in the technical room. Intelligent switching of and between all equipment (swimming pool, sauna, home automation, security and attractions). Both static and dynamic switching: based on times, based on scenarios and with the option of controlling the intensity at almost every level. Remote signalling and diagnosis. Cost efficiency for installation, service and maintenance. Operation comfort and overview. Wellness Control replaces, for example, the following components that are otherwise installed separately: * Filter pump control and monitoring* Jetstream control and monitoring* Continuous monitoring of water quality, such as pH, Redox value and chlorine (OCL, HOCL) * Dosing of water-quality-improvement products (chemicals) based on the water quality that is measured. We deliver a unique system that continuously measures, checks and regulates the ratios based on logarithmic calculations* Water-level monitoring in the swimming pool, with automatic top-up if desired* UV light control and monitoring* Rolling deck control and monitoring* Water temperature control* Control of swimming pool lighting and outdoor lighting control (dimmable)* All separate control panels |
